AIR FRANCE SPONSORS MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS FESTIVAL FOR A SEVENTH YEAR
Montreal, December 10, 2008 –
Air France announced it will be sponsoring the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival for a seventh time. The event will run from February 19 to March 1, 2009 and will feature the airline's flagship destination: Paris.

Air France opened its Montreal office in 1950, and welcomes the opportunity to proudly reiterate its commitment to the city by supporting the Festival and also promoting the art of cooking by sponsoring the Air France Wine and Dine Experience presented by American Express February 19 to March 1, 2009.

The airline's ongoing collaboration with some of the finest culinary talents reflects its policy of excellence. For instance, Olivier Poussier, named the world's top sommelier in 2000 in Montreal, selects the complimentary wines and champagnes Air France serves in every seat class.

“The 10 th MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival will give Montrealers a chance to enjoy a taste of Paris through restaurants and live performances,” said Air France General Manager for Canada Bénédicte Duval, adding that “passengers who fly out of Montreal and Toronto each day aboard Air France get to experience Paris and France the moment they step inside the aircraft.”

Air France will also present Ma vie avec Mozart , part of the festival's Sun Life Financial Performing Arts program. These shows will feature the author, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, reading excerpts from his book, accompanied by the I Musici chamber orchestra.

In winter, Air France flies out of Montreal twice daily, making it possible for over 700 passengers to travel to the City of Lights or connect with flights to 182 additional destinations from Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport.
