Maison Guého: wide-angle nights on the Loire

Four contemporary guest rooms in a completely restored mansion overlooking the Loire offer the opportunity for lovely dreams after a gourmet dinner.

Since November 2015, the well-known Nantais chef, Jean Yves Guého has taken over a house he has dreamed of for years on the Sainte-Anne hill. It is a large house that has been done over by combining the old with a bright contemporary design that, while being respectful of the past, gives the old mansion a chic new life.

Here, the chef and his wife combine gourmet pleasures with relaxation, with a view of the river and the lovely little fishing village. The feeling of being on a boat is palpable. The rooms are small but functional and nicely appointed. It is a formula that allows one to be carried away by a real experience in the art of entertaining.

The ideal being to have a drink and enjoy the sunset on the terrace, feast on the chef's excellent recipes, then relax by spending the night in this new starred gastronomic temple.
